I'm Pedro. Sugar Hill has grown a lot in the last few years, and I've watched most of it happen from just down the road in Buford. Big or small, new or forty years old—when you call about your house, you're talking to me.
Who I Am Here
A lot of new around here. I'm not that.
Sugar Hill has changed fast. The city built out a downtown you can walk—the E Center, The Bowl and its amphitheater, a pedestrian bridge over Highway 20 tying the neighborhoods in, greenway going in a piece at a time. Townhomes, apartments, and infill houses have followed. There's a lot of building going on, and a lot of big crews working it.
Meanwhile the established neighborhoods around town are still exactly what they've always been—regular houses with families in them, most of them well past due for paint, a little tired around the trim, a driveway that's gone gray. Those homes don't need a development team. They need somebody reliable who shows up when he says he will.
That's the part I do. I'm a small outfit—not a big crew, never have been. You call, I answer. I come look at the work myself, I give you a straight price, and then I'm the one who does it. I'd rather take on fewer houses and do them properly than run three jobs at once. Most of it is everyday work. Repainting a house that hasn't been touched in ten years. Freshening up a kitchen without gutting it. Washing a driveway and walkway back to the color they started out. And the small repairs that pile up until nobody wants to look at the list anymore—I'll take that list.
